Why the Beauty Industry Loves Kim Kardashian

Life Style |

Kim Kardashian is well known as an actress, model, socialite, and businesswoman. She is the mother of four and now has her own cosmetics company KKW Beauty, shapewear line, Skims. She is also fighting for prison reform and an aspiring lawyer.

Over the past 10 years, she has created many trends while continually inspiring women to strive for their best beauty looks. Although many of her stances have been in place to strengthen and bring value to her own brand, it does come at a cost.

If you ask many women, they will tell you Kardashian and the entire family have unrealistically promoted standards of beauty. However, there is no doubt, she is a total perfectionist when it comes to makeup.

Perfect Skin in Reality and Real Life?

She loves creating an absolutely flawless look by using a great deal of makeup and filters on her social media pages. She has never hidden the fact that she has gone through expensive beauty treatments along with visits to her dermatologist.

That said, it’s still obvious that women and young girls are not happy with her very unrealistic beauty treatments. Most women and young girls could not possibly gain access to millions of dollars. Her skincare routine consists of 17 products and would cost you more than $4,000.

Recently at a Lakers game, everyone noticed that she really does have pretty skin, but fans noticed it’s far from perfect. One fan agreed that she does have really great looking skin but keep in mind, she also has access to skin products and treatments that most people could never afford.

Women and especially young girls should not be deceived by the high cost of skin care products because, in reality, perfect skin just does not exist.

Another fan said her skin looks the most realistic she’d ever seen for Kardashian.

In reality, no one on this planet has perfect skin. Our skin is not completely smooth, we have cells and pores, our skin is not made out of plastic.

Consumers should be very aware that the goal of the cosmetic industry is for you to find flaws with your skin and buy even more products to try and reach perfect skin with makeup and treatments.

Taking a Toll on Mascara

Another side of Kim, she loves false eyelashes and does not offer mascara. That also includes Lady Gaga’s Hans Laboratories, Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, and Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty. Not one of these companies offers mascara and it’s definitely taken a toll on mascara sales.

A lot of this is due to Kardashian’s influence in the world of beauty.

Her well-known makeup artist Mario Dedivanvid told  CNN that there is no doubt that Kim is probably the most “looked at” woman in the entire world and women take their makeup routines very seriously and find their inspiration in this woman.

Even though mascara will be back up and running, right now, women are opting for lash extensions for an easier application for great-looking lashes.

Whether you prefer mascara or false lashes, you will find them in your local drug store or on the makeup aisle in your favorite stores and not have to pay big bucks!
